Using
the Tools of Academia to Solve Real Problems
To ensure that our programs reflect the
interdisciplinary nature of health and the realities of working
in resource constrained environments, we partner with various
academic and professional disciplines as well as international
and community-based agencies to develop and implement our
programs.
We assess the needs of communities served
by international agencies and community-based organizations,
and work with them to determine what programs or competencies
are needed. We then use existing academic tools or develop
new one to meet those needs.
